As we approach the Winter Solstice, the darkest season of the year, the holidays remind us that Light shines in the darkness. The winter holidays also encourage us to gather with family and honor those relationships. This makes the holidays especially difficult for people who don’t have faith that their families will share love or support, or might have unexamined biases that have sharp edges.
